1. One-Year Manufacturing Warranty

Every Carat Years piece comes with a 1-year manufacturing warranty covering defects in craftsmanship and materials, from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects in the setting or metalwork.
• Stone loosening attributable to a manufacturing defect in the prong or setting.
• Clasp or closure defects.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Damage caused by accidental impact, exposure to chemicals, perfumes, or improper storage.
• Loss of stone due to damage, rather than a manufacturing defect.
• Any work carried out by a jeweller other than Carat Years — this voids the warranty.

2. Complimentary Cleaning, Polishing & Repair — For Life

Carat Years offers complimentary cleaning, polishing, and minor repair services on all Carat Years pieces, for the lifetime of your purchase. There are no service fees.

Whether your piece needs a routine clean to restore its brilliance, a polish to refresh its surface, or a minor repair to a setting or clasp — bring it to us. Always.

This service is available via email request: write to care@caratyears.in to arrange an insured pickup. Pickup and delivery charges are to be borne by the customer.

We believe the relationship between a Carat Years customer and their piece does not end at the point of purchase. We are here to care for it alongside you.

3. Jewellery Care Guidelines

• Store your piece in the box or pouch provided when not being worn, to prevent surface scratches.
• Avoid exposure to chlorine, bleach, perfumes, and household chemicals.
• Remove jewellery before swimming, exercising, or activities involving physical impact.
• Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth — or bring the piece to us for a professional clean at any time, free of charge.
• Have your piece inspected by our team annually to ensure settings and clasps remain secure.

1. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with orders placed through www.CaratYears.com shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.

2. Amendments

Carat Years reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on our website with an updated effective date.
